Risk Description
The front master brake cylinder assembly installed on these vehicles had been built with inadequate lubrication on the secondary cup. This could cause too slow return of the piston upon release of the brake and in extreme cases, the piston may not return completely. If this happens, the rear brake light could remain illuminated which could result in an accident, since the rider cannot warn the drivers of other vehicles when reduces the speed of his motorcycle.
