Risk Description
There is a risk of injuries with the affected vehicles because the brake light switch may malfunction causing the brake lights to fail to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed, or to remain illuminated when the brake pedal is released. In addition, it is possible that the electronic stability control may be disabled and that the cruise control may not deactivate when the brake pedal is pressed.
