Risk Description
The product releases an excessive amount of nickel (measured value up to 2.4 μg/cm²/week). Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product also has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 2.4 % by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity (only if exposure to children expected) and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
