Mobile phone travel charger was recalled on 16 January 2009 under EU Safety Gate alert 0041/09. Electric shock risk reported by Slovakia. The products pose a risk of electric shock because: - the construction of the converter does not comply with the requirements on safe separation of primary windings from secondary windings, - clearances, creepage distances and parameter of insulation between the mains part and output voltage do not comply with requirements even for basic insulation, - the length of conductors enables bypassing of double insulation in case of conductor release and a possibility of the presence of mains voltage on the output connector, - the product does not pass the voltage test between output connector and mains plugs even for basic insulation.
