Risk Description
The product contains an excessive amount of lead and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) (measured values: up to 72.7 % and 0.947 % by weight, respectively).Lead and PBDE may migrate into the milk.As a result, exposure to lead may cause developmental neurotoxicity in young children and cardiovascular effects and nephrotoxicity in adults. Lead also poses a risk to the environment.In addition, decaBDE might cause neurodevelopmental behavioural defects and is very persistent and bio-accumulative, posing a risk to human health and the environment. The article does not comply with the requirements of the Commission Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
