Risk Description

The suction cups may be easily detached. If a child puts the projectile in the mouth, the suction cup could detach and obstruct the airways. Moreover, the kinetic energy of the projectiles, when hitting a person, is too high. This could cause injuries, especially to the eyes. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

The toy set consists of: a long-barreled rifle with a spring-loaded mechanism, three long projectiles with orange polymer suction cups, a grenade, glasses and three targets with a glued coloured sticker - black rigid plastic. Rifle fasteners (screws) - metal.

Recommended action

Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund. Suffocation: Remove the product and any packaging from the child's reach immediately. If a child is having difficulty breathing, call emergency services. Dispose of plastic packaging safely.

Who is at risk?

Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury. Infants and toddlers are at highest risk. Never leave plastic bags or soft materials in a sleeping area.
