Risk Description
The required breakage force for the accelerator pedal stop was not applied to the pedal support design. As a result, the pedal stop may fail under excessive pedal force. If this occurs while driving, the accelerator pedal could detach at its attachment point, preventing acceleration and causing loss of traction. This could lead to injuries. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
