Manual illuminator was recalled on 13 April 2007 under EU Safety Gate alert 0326/07. Electric shock risk reported by Lithuania. This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- it does not have cable inlet anchorage;- conductors cross-section area is less than required (required minimum is 1 mm² and the measured cross-section is only 0,5 mm²);- it fails flexion test (all conductors of brown thread broke).

Risk Description
This product poses a risk of electric shock because:- it does not have cable inlet anchorage;- conductors cross-section area is less than required (required minimum is 1 mm² and the measured cross-section is only 0,5 mm²);- it fails flexion test (all conductors of brown thread broke).In addition, the product fails to meet marking requirements.This product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard.
