Mains plug adaptor Adaptor Universal 431/Adaptor T was recalled on 1 April 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 0301/11. Electric shock risk reported by Spain. The products pose a risk of electric shock because:1)- it is possible to insert one pin of a plug in the live socket while the other pin is freely accessible because the holes in the socket are not sufficiently elastic to ensure appropriate contact pressure with the pins of the plug; 2) - it is possible to insert one pin of a plug in the live socket while the other pin is freely accessible because the holes in the socket are not sufficiently elastic to ensure appropriate contact pressure with the pins of the plug;- it is possible to insert a rigid wire of 1mm diameter into the holes in the socket through the seal without a plug being inserted.

Risk Description

The products do not comply with the relevant national standard UNE 20315.
