Risk Description

The plastic part of the fishing rod could easily be opened and release the magnet, which is a small part. A small child could put it in the mouth and choke. Moreover, if a child swallows the magnet and other metal objects, these could be attracted to each other causing intestinal blockage or perforation. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-1.

Product Description

Model J08152: magnetic game comprised of two wooden-handled toy fishing rods and nine wooden sardines, presented in a tin in the shape of a sardine; Model J08153: two wooden-handled toy fishing rods and 14 wooden starfishes, presented in a tin in the shape of a starfish.

Recommended action

Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer.
