Magic Sand was recalled on 30 June 2017 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0853/17. Suffocation risk reported by United Kingdom. The plastic packaging for the sand is too large and too thin: If a child plays with the packaging, the plastic can cover the mouth and nose causing the child to suffocate.

Risk Description

The plastic packaging for the sand is too large and too thin: If a child plays with the packaging, the plastic can cover the mouth and nose causing the child to suffocate.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standards EN 71-1.
