Risk Description
This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because there is insufficient distance between the live and neutral pins and the plug periphery. In addition, the fuse link is below standard dimensional requirements. To ensure effective operation of the fuse link, standard BS 1363 requires the fuse link to be mounted between the line termination and corresponding plug pin. In this case, the fuse link is mounted after the lamp and the switch and actually connected to the neutral termination and the corresponding plug pin. Therefore, in the event of a fault within the product the fuse link may not operate thereby removing the intended over-current protection, which could result in an electric shock. This product does not comply with the national standard BS 1363
