Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and burns because:- The mechanical strength of the flashing unit is not sufficient and its cover can be fragmented, resulting in accessible live parts.- The insulation material of the flashing unit is flammable.- The cross-section area of the external wires is not sufficient and the wires could consequently overheat.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Christmas lighting chains with non- replaceable, LED-type lamps, equipped with a flashing unit. The packaging is a cardboard box with a picture of two snowmen and marking "Light up your life this Christmas".
