Risk Description

The solders of the product have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 44% by weight). The plastic in the product has an excessive concentration of Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs) (measured value up to 0.145% by weight). Lead poses a risk to the environment. PBDEs pose a risk to the environment and to human health. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
