Risk Description
The product contains a high amount of methyl methacrylate (measured value up to 98,5%), which has a high sensitisation/allergenic potential and can result in damages to nails and/or hands which can last for years. The BfR [German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment] in its Opinion No 014/2012 of 22 December 2011 classifies concentrations of 80- 90 % methyl methacrylate in nail art substances as hazardous to health. It has been classified as hazardous to health within the meaning of Article 3 of Cosmetic Product Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.
