Risk Description

Grease used to lubricate mechanical components inside the pressure relief device can harden upon prolonged exposure to high heat. This can prevent controlled emergency ventilation of the tanks, which may lead to the gas tank exploding. In such a case, damage to property and/or personal injury cannot be excluded. The products does not comply with the requirements laid down in the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of Motor Vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
