The products pose a risk of electric shock and fire because: - the soldered wires are not fixed in the flashing unit, - there is no efficient protection against twisting and pulling, - the insulation of the flashing unit is insufficient, thus flashover can occur and the product can catch fire.

Risk Description

The products pose a risk of electric shock and fire because: - the soldered wires are not fixed in the flashing unit, - there is no efficient protection against twisting and pulling, - the insulation of the flashing unit is insufficient, thus flashover can occur and the product can catch fire. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description

The lighting chains include 140/100 orange, green, red and blue series-parallel connected miniature lamps, a flashing unit („SPEED FUNCTION, two-core mains supply cable without marking, and a plug („2,5 A 250 V EDV”). Technical parameters: 230V 50 Hz 32W, bulb: 3,5V 0,245W, Class II, F-mark.
