Lighting chain was recalled on 7 July 2017 under EU Safety Gate alert A12/0876/17. Electric shock risk reported by Spain. The cable is not properly secured against pulling and the wire ends can be pulled out easily, giving access to live parts.

Risk Description
The cable is not properly secured against pulling and the wire ends can be pulled out easily, giving access to live parts. The cable between the plug and the first light-socket is too short. Live parts can also be accessed when handling the control device.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
