Lighting chain was recalled on 30 April 2010 under EU Safety Gate alert 0697/10. Electric shock risk reported by Spain. The products pose a risk of electric shock because:- their mechanical resistance is not sufficient;- the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the cables is too small.

Risk Description
The products pose a risk of electric shock because:- their mechanical resistance is not sufficient;- the cross-sectional area of the conductors in the cables is too small. The products do not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
