Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:- the cable does not pass the tensile test,- the power plug does not comply with standard IEC 60083,- the length of the cable between the plug and the first lamp, at 0.90 metres, is less than the 1.50 metres required,- the terminals do not pass the test for the efficiency of permanent connections,- the cable incorporated in the chain has characteristics inferior to those specified in the standard and the nominal section of the conductors, at 0.04 mm², is less than the 0.50 mm² required by the standard.In addition, the lighting chain does not bear the relevant markings. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
