Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:· The cross-sectional area of the wires is not sufficient and the wires can consequently overheat.· The wire ends soldered to the rectifying unit terminals and the LEDs are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting. · The accessible wires have only basic insulation and if they come into contact with the sharp edges of the rectifying unit live wires can become accessible. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
