Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because:· The product is marketed as an outdoor lighting chain but has no protection from penetration by external liquids · The cover on the control unit can be easily opened without the use of a tool. When the cover is open, the live mains connections can be touched accidentally.· The control unit does not have any strain relief device for the mains voltage cables. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
