The product poses a risk of electric shock because : - there is only basic insulation on the soldered connections of the light sources, - the cross-section area of the core is less than the requirement, - the wires broke when checking the cord anchorage, - the protection against ingress of water is missing.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because : - there is only basic insulation on the soldered connections of the light sources, - the cross-section area of the core is less than the requirement, - the wires broke when checking the cord anchorage, - the protection against ingress of water is missing. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description

The product is a lighting chain containing 224 series-parallel connected, incandescent, non-replaceable lamps with resistor bridge. There are flashing unit controls and four parallel circuits. Mains plug with inscription: " CH, TS-01, 2,5A 250V, VDE "; flashing unit with inscription: "FLASHER CONTROL UNIT 230V AC 50HZ 0.83A CE TÜV EMC PRESS". Technical parameters: 230 V~, 50 Hz, 55 W, Class II.
