Lighting chain was recalled on 26 May 2023 under EU Safety Gate alert A11/00062/23. Electric shock risk reported by Czechia. A connection can be made between the pin of the associated fork and the live contact of the socket when connecting another light chain, when the other pin of the fork (current pin) is accessible to touch with a finger.

Risk Description
A connection can be made between the pin of the associated fork and the live contact of the socket when connecting another light chain, when the other pin of the fork (current pin) is accessible to touch with a finger. A user can receive an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60598.
