The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:·         The cover of the flashing device does not have sufficient mechanical strength and can crack allowing water to reach live parts;·         The cable is not properly attached to the flashing device;·         The cross-sectional area of the internal wires is not sufficient.

Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock and fire because:·         The cover of the flashing device does not have sufficient mechanical strength and can crack allowing water to reach live parts;·         The cable is not properly attached to the flashing device;·         The cross-sectional area of the internal wires is not sufficient.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standard EN 60598.

Product Description

Christmas lighting chain made from transparent plastic material with 180 yellow lights, equipped with a white programme switch device. Packed in a dark blue cardboard box with a picture of coloured lights.
