The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the wire ends soldered to terminals of the flashing switch and control unit and the LEDs are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting:- the accessible wires have only basic insulation and they come into contact with sharp edges of the flashing control unit.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the wire ends soldered to terminals of the flashing switch and control unit and the LEDs are not adequately protected against pulling and twisting:- the accessible wires have only basic insulation and they come into contact with sharp edges of the flashing control unit. In case of damage, the live metal parts become accessible;- the decorative lighting chain is recommended for outdoor use although it is not protected against moisture.The product poses a risk of fire because the cross-section area of the wires is less than the minimum requirement, thus, they can overheat.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60598.
