Risk Description
The product poses a risk of fire because:· it has insufficient resistance to cyclic burning; · the flame height is too high;· it has insufficient resistance to spitting, sputtering and flaring; · flame extinction is insufficient;· resistance to continuous burning is insufficient.The failure of the lighter to extinguish properly can lead to the lighter melting and gas escaping under pressure. This can result in the lighter becoming engulfed in flames which can in turn set fire to the surroundings.1 incident reported.The product does not comply with the relevant European standard EN 9994.
