Risk Description

The battery compartment can easily be opened without use of any tools and the button batteries inside are easily accessible. A child may put them in the mouth and swallow them, which could cause damage to the child’s gastrointestinal tract and/or choking. The product does not comply with the General Product Safety Regulation.

Recommended action

Burns: Stop using the product immediately. If you have suffered burns, cool the area with running water and seek medical attention. Do not attempt to repair the product. Chemical: Stop using the product immediately. Wash any skin that has come into contact with it. Keep it away from children. Return it to the retailer for a refund if possible. Choking: Remove the product from children immediately. Check if any small parts are missing. If a child has swallowed a part, seek medical attention immediately. Return the product to the retailer. Injuries: Stop using the product immediately. Check yourself and family members for any injuries. Store the product safely out of reach and contact the retailer or manufacturer for a replacement or refund.

Who is at risk?

All users. Children and elderly people are particularly vulnerable to burn injuries. Anyone who has used this product, especially children, pregnant women, and people with sensitive skin. Children under 3 years old are at highest risk. Supervise older children as well. All users, particularly children and elderly people who may be more vulnerable to injury.
