Risk Description
The lamp is appealing to children who may play with the lamp when it is plugged into a mains socket. The pins of the built-in plug are not properly designed and the user can touch the live pins of the lamp when plugging the lamp into a mains socket. The insulation between the live parts and the accessible parts of the product is not sufficient. The cross-sectional area of the core of the wires is too small and in case of a short circuit the wires may overheat and cause a fire.The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive, the relevant European standard EN 60598 and the relevant national standard.
