The product can be cut off to be shortened according to the instructions, but is missing components and information to prevent contact with live parts after shortening. The user could receive an electric shock via accessible live parts. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive nor with the European standard EN 60598-2-21 and EN 60598-1.
