Risk Description
The solders have an excessive concentration of lead (measured value up to 64 % by weight). The product also has an excessive concentration of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) (measured value up to 0.3 %).Lead poses a risk to the environment. PBDEs might cause neurodevelopmental behavioural defects and are very persistent and bioaccumulative, posing a risk for the environment and human health. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS 2 Directive).
