Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock because - the internal wires reach the cooling body through holes which have not been de-burred. This creates a risk of the wires being damaged by the sharp edges;- under a test voltage of approx. 1 000V AC between the lamp holder and the touchable cooling body there is a flow of current (breakdown). The insulation between electrically active parts and metallic touchable parts is thus inadequate;- according to the manufacturer's information this is a light bulb for use outdoors. The stated type of protection (IP 55) cannot be complied with by the open cooling body with the internal wires. Consequently, in the case of water ingress (which can be expected), there is a risk of electric shock;- it is possible to touch the internal wires or the terminal connections on the cooling body with the fingers. In addition, the light bulb weighs approx. 1 kg (by way of comparison, a normal light bulb weighs only approx. 30 g). Consequently, the light bulb engenders a high tensile and/or bending load on the lamp holder. In addition, there is no declaration of conformity by the EU distributor, no address given for the manufacturer or its authorised representative, no CE mark and no information on type designation, voltage, power, frequency or instructions for use.The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD).
Product Description
Large LED light bulb with six vertical rows of LEDs arranged in a star formation; weight approx. 1 kg.
