Risk Description
The product poses a risk of damage to sight because : - laser radiation measured at the output section of the laser pointer has a maximum capacity of 1.45 mW. The measured value is lower than the maximum permissible capacity for lasers of Class IIIA but exceeds the maximum permissible capacity for Class II. Therefore, the laser pointer is a laser system of Class IIIA. - the laser pointer has not been marked with a warning or an information sticker detailing the main technical characteristics and the correct class. - no safety instructions are provided in the packaging to warn consumers that they should not look directly at the laser beam or its reflection in a mirror unless wearing goggles and they should not point it towards an unprotected eye.
