Risk Description

This product poses a risk of electric shock because the curved plastic element may melt and lose its shape, as a result of which it may no longer be guaranteed to be watertight. The flaw lies within the plastic tube, which is made up of two types of plastic soldered ultrasonically. The plastic tube is sealed by a plastic disc to which the wooden cap is attached with three screws. The change in the type of plastic used for this disc could be the source of the flaw that resulted in loss of shape and caused the lamp to lose its watertightness during endurance tests.
