Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk due to the presence of dimethylfumarate (DMF) up to a value of 4.8 mg/kg in the accompanying sachet and in the shoes. Dimethylfumarate is a substance which has to be considered harmful, irritating and sensitising on contact with the skin, and its use as a biocide is not authorised.One incident reported

Ladies' moccasin-type shoes, black with a low heel, packed in a white box with coloured lines and a label showing the article code, bar code price and size; another label with the importer's details matches those of the distributor. A stamp printed on the box in red reads “BATA Premium Collection”.
