The products pose a chemical risk because the presence of dimethylfumarate in the footwear and in the sachets contained in the packaging. Dimethylfumarate (DMF) is a substance which is considered harmful, irritating and sensitising on contact with the skin, and its use as a biocide is not authorised.

"Manoletina"-type shoes. Model 32022 Sabrina Cua Black patent leather and Model 36048 Ref. 83694 Sabri Bordeaux-coloured Cha. They have a label reading: BENAVENTE CALZADOS. The packaging is a cardboard box marked as follows: BENAVENTE Made in China. Inside there are two sachets marked SILICA GEL and MOULDPROOF.
