Risk Description

The green pencil contains an excessive amount of lead (measured value: 19.5 mg/kg). A child using the pencils could put one in his/her mouth and suck on it and then the lead would enter the child’s body. Exposure to lead can result in severe and irreversible neuro-behavioural and neuro-developmental effects to which children are particularly sensitive.The product does not comply with the Toy Safety Directive and with the relevant European standards EN 71-3.
