Risk Description
Fatigue fractures may occur in the plastic connecting parts in the grating sieve (probably as a result of repeated washing in dishwashing machines). The sieve then breaks and parts may be projected at high velocity through the cover. Persons operating the appliance or standing in the immediate vicinity may be injured by the flying fragments.Three accidents causing injury are known to have occurred (severe lacerations to the face, arms and hands).
