Risk Description
The products in the set contain an excessive amount of cadmium (measured value up to: 99 % by weight). Additionally, the earrings release an excessive amount of nickel (measured value up to: 6.1 µg/cm2/week).Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidney and bones and it may cause cancer. Nickel is a strong sensitiser and causes allergic reactions if present in articles that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
