Inverter was recalled on 15 July 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 0662/11. Electric shock risk reported by Finland. The product poses a risk of electric shock from the accessible metal parts because:- isolation between input (SELV circuit) and hazardous secondary voltage is not sufficient,- the socket-outlet of the product does not fulfil requirements for access to energized parts.

Risk Description
The product poses a risk of electric shock from the accessible metal parts because:- isolation between input (SELV circuit) and hazardous secondary voltage is not sufficient,- the socket-outlet of the product does not fulfil requirements for access to energized parts. There is a possibility of contact with the energized pin of the plug, when plug-in/out. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the relevant European standards EN 60950 and EN 60884
