Risk Description
Due to the improper design of the intercooler outlet pipe and insufficient tightening of the intercooler inlet hose clump, they could slip off and cause the improper ratio of air/fuel mixture.The above condition may cause excessive deposition of carbon particulate in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) system that could burn up and result in the overheating or melting of DPF. In the worst case, DPF may catch fire.
