Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 29.2% by weight of bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in the film and 24.3% in the valve. The product may be played with or intensely grabbed by a child during long hours without the plush coating and the chair could be taken into the child’s mouth, especially if not inflated. The child would thus be in intense contact with the plastic of the chair, and thus the child's exposure to phthalates could be very high.
