Inflatable armbands was recalled on 19 August 2016 under EU Safety Gate alert A11/0074/16. Drowning risk reported by Finland. When the caps are not entirely pushed in, air can leak through the valves, possibly causing the armbands to deflate with a risk of drowning for the user.

Risk Description
When the caps are not entirely pushed in, air can leak through the valves, possibly causing the armbands to deflate with a risk of drowning for the user. The product does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment Directive and the relevant European standard EN 13138.

Who is at risk?
Children are at extreme risk. Drowning can occur in as little as 2 cm of water.
