Inboard engines was recalled on 29 July 2011 under EU Safety Gate alert 0704/11. Fire risk reported by Sweden. The alternator cable harness may rub against the oil return pipe from the turbo and, in certain cases, cause a short circuit in the electrical system.

Risk Description
The alternator cable harness may rub against the oil return pipe from the turbo and, in certain cases, cause a short circuit in the electrical system. There is also a risk that the cable harness might abrade against sharp edges at the alternator. A short circuit in the electrical system can lead to the risk of fire or explosion.
