Risk Description
The sealed bag with liquid inside the gift contains a highly concentrated citric acid (measured value 392 g per litre, pH 1.05). When opened to induce the chemical reaction with the bicarbonate to inflate the heart, the acid solution can easily get in contact with the skin and eyes, causing eye irritation and skin corrosion. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Toy Safety Directive and the relevant European standard EN 71-4.
