Risk Description
The toy has an excessive concentration of lead (measured value, at least : 33 mg/kg) and in particular in the brown plastic of the handles, it has an excessive concentration of di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured value : 1.9 % by weight). Lead is harmful to human health, accumulates in the body, can cause developmental neurotoxicity and may affect breast-fed or unborn children. DINP may harm the health of children, causing possible damage to their reproductive system and liver. The product does not comply with the REACH Regulation.
