Risk Description
The product poses a chemical risk because it contains 0.14 (± 0.02) mg/kg of dimethylfumarate (DMF) in the brown suede (upper material); 0.15 (± 0.02) mg/kg in the black fabric of the insole; and 0.34 (± 0.02) mg/kg in the brown shoelaces.Dimethylfumarate is a substance which is strongly sensitising on contact with the skin, and consumer products containing dimethylfumarate are banned according to Commission Decision 2009/251/EC.
