Risk Description

The product poses a risk of electric shock because: - the difference between the limits of the rated voltage range is 11.7% of the mean value of power measured for each voltage, which exceeds the 10% mean value laid down by the standard. Accordingly, the manufacturer must indicate the power for each of the voltages of the rated voltage range, - the gun has no instructions for use, which must include the following warning for supply cables with a Z clamp: ‘The supply cable cannot be replaced. If damaged, the appliance must not be used', - the supply cable has only basic insulation accessible and so there is insufficient protection against accidental contact with live parts, - Class II appliances and Class II parts must be built and enclosed in such a way as to ensure sufficient protection against accidental contact with the primary insulation and with metallic parts separated from the live parts only by primary insulation, - the appliance failed the electrical strength test at 3 000 V~ in relation to reinforced insulation between the live parts and the appliance’s casing, - the conductors of the supply cable should not be fixed by Sn-Pb soldering where they are subject to contact pressure, unless the fastening mechanisms are built in such a way as to ensure there is no risk of poor contact because of the cold flow of the soldering, - the markings are not long-lasting and do not remain legible. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the relevant European standard EN 60335.
