Risk Description
The product has an excessive concentration of estragole (measured value up to 0.93%). Estragole is a genotoxic carcinogen. Moreover, the product contains citronellol, geraniol, citral or alpha-isomethyl ionone, but the presence is not indicated in the list of ingredients. Consumers are not aware of their presence and may suffer allergic reactions or skin sensitisation. The product does not comply with the Cosmetic Products Regulation.
