Risk Description
The synthetic leather contains short chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) (measured value up to 0.512%) and lead (measured value up to 0.15% by weight). SCCPs persist in the environment, are toxic to aquatic organisms at low concentrations and bioaccumulate in wildlife and humans, posing a risk to human health and the environment. Exposure to lead can result in severe and irreversible neuro-behavioural and neuro-developmental effects.The product does not comply with the Regulation on persistent organic pollutants (POP Regulation) and the REACH regulation.
